ALL players trying-out must have proper insurance coverage. If a player trying-out for a team is currently registered with anther CYSA Team during the current playing season, that player has proper CYSA insurance coverage. However, if the player is not currently registered with a CYSA Team, the coach is responsible to have the parent sign the CYSA Form 1601 – and write “Tryout” on the top of the form. Download CYSA Form 1601 and bring to the tryout.

The SC Dragons U11 boys team is looking to add a few more players to this Spring's roster! Please come to a tryout during the team's practice on Thursday 3/21 4:30-6:00 at Millikin Elementary School 615 Hobart Terrace Santa Clara. Age group is for those born after 7/31/01. If your son is interested in competitive soccer, wants to move up from recreational or needs a team please come and check it out! The team also plays in the Fall. Tryout participants should come wearing shin guards and be ready to play. A tryout liability form is required--available on the SCYSL website. Santa Clara Fire 00B U12
Santa Clara Fire is a SCYSL U12 Boys Class 3/Copper soccer team (born after July 31st, 2000) which does not play in the spring to accommodate players who participate in baseball. The team will play league games and local tournaments. Please RSVP to TWO tryouts minimum on SUNDAYS: June 3, 10, or 24 at Curtis Field (south end) 5-7pm. Bring water , cleats, shin guards, and a size-4 soccer ball. Emphasis is on having fun while strengthening individual, team, and sportsmanship skills. Goalie and field positions needed. We placed in the following tournaments last year: District II Cup Bronze-C Champions, Almaden Halloween Classic 3rd Place, Soccer by the Bay Bronze Champions. Register for recreational (Class 4) soccer at the May or June SCYSL registration dates. Santa Clara Bulldogs U15
Santa Clara Bulldogs - (Players born after 7/31/1997). The team is having open try outs/ practice for Fall soccer beginning on Tuesday June 26th from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, Wednesday June 27th 5:30pm-7:00pm, Wednesday July 11th,5:30pm-7:00pm and Saturday July14th 10:00am-11:30am. All prospecactive players are welcome to attend if you are interested in playing. In the Fall, we will continue to practice at at (Carden Academy School 615 Hobart Ave & Forbes Ave. Santa Clara). Bring water, cleats, and a ball. For interested players that cannot attend, please contact the coach to arrange a different time to be evaluated. The Santa Clara Strikers 96 will be holding tryouts on the following dates: Tuesday, June 19th (5:30–7 pm), Thursday, June 21st (5:30-7pm), Saturday, June 23rd (10–11:30 am) and Monday, June 25th (5:30–7 pm). All try-outs will be at Sutter Field. If you did not play with the Strikers 96 team in the Fall or Spring, you will need to fill out a liability form which can be found under the Try-Out page in SCYSL website.
