Santa Clara Sporting is once again doing it’s part to kick breast cancer in the butt with our 2nd Annual Goals for a Cure Campaign during the month of October. Last year our club raised $26, 537 and donated all the funds to the El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California. El Camino Hospital used the funds to provide early breast screen exams to women who need financial support.
Every woman should get an annual mamogram exam because early detection and treatment is critically important to fight this killer disease.
All Santa Clara Sporting Teams will compete in their pink Goals-for-a-Cure jerseys during the month of October to raise awareness and donations. Let’s all work together to get the word out! Tell your Mom, tell your sister, tell your grandmother to get checked! Teams raise money through a Goal-a-thon (donations for every goal score), or through flat donations.
